So the show my band played last night seemed to go over exceedingly well. One of the neat things about the show is that they gave everyone that came something called an iSongCard. Each card has a scratch section at the back, allowing you to download a single by every one of the bands that played.

This show was one in a series of about half a dozen so there are about 20 bands to chose from on the download page. I thought it was a pretty cool way to share my song with you guys so I'm gonna post a couple of the download codes.

I think each one only has 50 or so downloads so these codes won't work forever. I'll just link the song for download when they run out.

The band recorded this before I joined them and I added the vocals with my laptop and USB headset microphone. When I do a better version of it in the studio I'll let you know but I think I faked a pretty decent production level :)

That's a pretty good mix for a USB headset microphone! Did you use any kind of pre-processor, or was it straight into the USB port? I like the song but it's not quite metal enough for my tastes. The guitar bridge and solo(s) are pretty cool, though.

So we're finally recording. Drum tracks for seven songs are now finished and we're almost done the bass. We're hoping to have the EP finished by March and I'll make sure I get a copy to whoever is interested.
