Wow, that was some shitty research on #10. You can't just "have a personal bust made of butter." They make about 9 of those a year, and they only make busts of the 4H girls that win local contests. At the end of the fair the busts are given to the girls.
This is what I do at state fairs: Stare at the people eating this food. Decide what terrible, terrible fried food I am going to eat (1 per fair. My body can't hold more).
I remember the first time I was ever truly drunk in Texas...I had a semi-blackout and then came to at some late-night diner and I was eating a fried pickle. I was like "Wtf is this?? Am I eating a fried pickle??!" It was really weird. I had no idea such food existed.

The fair food that I always intend to try but never do is Scotch Eggs. A hard boiled egg, wrapped in bacon & saugage, breaded & fried.

That's my favorite Ren Faire food. Always have one for breakfast with a beer. Starts the day off JUST right!

My favorite fair food is this deep fried shishkabob they serve here with chicken, pickles, onions, green peppers, and potatoes. Nutritionally, it's foul, but seriously so delicious.

If you eat anything anywhere close to healthy at the Fair, you're doing it wrong.
I would have to try the Krispy Kreme burger. I'm just afraid it would KILL ME.

Seriously, once you're too tall for the teeny tiny faux-coasters, why ELSE would you go to the fair?

They don't even mention the deep-fried twinkies and candy bars.
There is a food fair in my home town every year and for a couple years there was a booth simply named "On A Stick." Don't be fooled into thinking they only served corndogs. They had Philly Cheese Steak on a stick, felafel to name a few. They also had healthy choices! Like Deep Fried carrots and bananas on sticks.

Why was there no mention of the French Fry covered Bacon on a Stick in this article?

there may be something better in the world to eat while drinking beer than Scotch Eggs, but I'll be damnned if i know what it is... Especially if you happen to be sitting in the White Stag Inn in Kowloon.....

My educated guess: he's been to that fair.
Or he has a butter bust. Really, either is win.

Do we want to know?
It's the Minnesota State Fair. I go every year. Also, my wife worked with a woman who was a dairy queen, and who still had her giant butter head stashed away in her freezer. I don't know why.
