So most of you know that I have travelled a lot. All over the world. Some trips for business, others for pleasure. Years ago I started collecting shot glasses from every place I visited. I think I had close to 100.... Until today. I bought a new couch recently and it's coming on Saturday. So I had to make room for it by moving a large glass cabinet that contained my liquor bottles, martini glasses, and my precious shot glass collection. I moved all the bottles out and as I started reaching for the first few shot glasses, the entire cabinet fell on me. The cats and I are fine but I lost half my shot glass collection in this tragedy. :(

The ones that broke are in such tiny pieces I can't even make out where some of them are are from! Among the casualties were shot glasses from Malta (Millenium edition), Australia, Prague, Denmark ("stoned again") and Egypt.

At least you are safe. That sounded nasty.

Shot Glasses can be replaced. I am sure there are lots of places to order more. Not the same going there buying them and bringing them home, but since you actually did that buying replacements off the internet would not be cheating.

*looks at shot glass* "Wow Sapph you went to the moon, cool!"

Sorry to hear about the collection, that sucks. But I am glad you are OK!
But lets try to focus on the important part of the story… At no time during the tragic event was there any alcohol spilled, dropped, and or wasted. At least they were EMPTY! :p right???

Sorry to hear that. :( Glad you're alright, could have been worse.

Ultimately, I think you should blame Fox.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have a shot glass collection as well and I would be soooo sad if they broke.

That's horrible. Looks like a nice collection.

I agree... blame Fox. It has to be his fault, somehow.

Damn that is scary! I am glad my wife collects match books! Well she collects shot glasses too, but she never gets to go anywhere.

I could probably get one that has cow nipples hanging from it.

I could bring one from Ottawa but . . . no wait, we're a stuffy government city. No one drinks here! ;)
