So, Arachne and I put the old "For Sale because we're moving to freakin Kansas" sign out in front of our house on May 31.
Right after putting the sign up we pulled out of the driveway for 12 days so that we could go visit Kansas and find a home there and then go to a wedding in Annapolis.
While we were gone some friends helped to show our house a couple of times. As I was getting on the plane to return home this morning I got a call from a real estate agent who showed the house... with an offer to buy.
So, we got home at 5pm and she arrived at 7pm with the offer... we signed it... and sold our house in 12 days...
Now, I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that nothing goes wrong...
In other news, we're still looking for a home in Kansas--so we will be pretty much homeless until we find one... But we're excited anyway!

Congratulations! I wish I had known you were in Annapolis -- I coulda popped out there and said hello (and showed you a great place to eat crabs on the Chesapeake Bay).

Yep, we've been all over the place. But we are home now. I should be around quite a bit and Arachne will be back soon. She defends her thesis Friday, so as soon as that is finished she'll have some more free time...
