Man, Ing and I had a lorenerd fapfest a while back where I basically came out as an Arthas apologist, because I make a personal distinction between "Arthas Menethil" and "That Soul-Eaten And Also Possessed Douchebag." I think it's in my blood. I mean, come on, you have been in my house when I've gone on and on about Siegfried Schtauffen vs. Nightmare without even the buffering effects of alcohol to get me started, YOU KNOW HOW I AM.

I still think he should be given credit for trying to do the right thing, and his beginning intentions were good even if they were clouded by him being essentially a frat boy dumbass. Now, being dumb enough to actually wield Frostmourne, WHEN IT IS OBVIOUSLY EVIL AND YOUR BFF IS TELLING TO TO PUT IT THE FUCK DOWN? I got no answer for that one. But I do think that everything that was actually ARTHAS was sublimated by and into the Lich King.
