I am unable to mine in Harvest Moon DS for some bloody reason; no ore=no upgrades.
Might you grace me with some of your Oracle-like wisdom concerning this?

You have to put in the code first:
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start.
All that does is give me Harvest Moon Porn, Faucks.

Are we talking about Harvest Moon DS, or Harvest Moon Rune Factory? There's a big difference between the two.
In Rune Factory you find ore in the dungeons by smashing rocks with the. . . mallet I think. It's been a while.
I've never played Harvest Moon DS. I was told it was a big rip off. If it's anything like the other Harvest Moons you probably get ore by going into the mine, smashing the rocks and digging in the ground with the pick axe.
