If only those f**kers would finally make it available in Washington DC. It's not like we don't have a whole bunch of over-educated people with computers who like porn!

It is available in 16 states and 10 million people. I wonder why they skipped Washington DC.

They have been installing it in some of the suburbs, and apparently we will get it in the city sometime next year. I suppose the suburbs are richer and overall have more people. On the other hand, DC itself is hardly hick country. A lot of us are pissed off about this! I mean, what don't they understand about "hey Verizon, I will gladly pay you my hard-earned money for your services".???
Twist the dagger, Heck; you and your astroglide fast fiber connection. Whilst I am consigned to abide in this technological, social, and spiritual hellish backwater gulag; suffering Bubba and his cousin/uncle/brother Cletus discussing the colossal length in which they threw a frozen mullet and downing "natty light".
FEH ON YOUR FIOS, I SAY...FEH!
I should have been a Dentist.

It's because DC isn't a state.

Yeah... no Fios in Tallahassee, which is kind of annoying... but I'm moving to a new city in a new state, maybe they will have it there!!!
*Looks up Manhattan, Kansas on Verizon's website*
Verizon's website reads: No way in hell we will ever put Fios in the middle of damn no-where, you're lucky you even get internet out there..."

You might want to check AT&T's U-verse offering... it seems to be rolling out a little fast because it doesn't use fiber to the house, but still offers pretty high speeds.....

Called Fios today. They switched some plans around with current promotions. It is actually saving me money, I get more channels, and now my speed went from 15/2 to 20/5. yay!
