I just wanted to post a short note to say hi to everyone and thanks for the opportunity to be part of this great and fun guild! Everyone has been so nice and it's already a pleasure to be here.
I thought perhaps I'd give a bit of an intro/about me kinda thing, as boring as that may be lol. I'm a Wash DC area, stay-at-home mom of an awesome, special needs older child, who is amazing albeit a challenge at times lol. Needless to say, WoW has been a great outlet for me when I get frustrated lol.
I've been playing WoW for slightly more than 2 years and have yet to have truly realized the extent of gameplay (I can be somewhat of a chicken at times lol). I have this lvl 70 priest, a lvl 70 hunter (and a host of underlings lol) and only in this go-round have i really learned the fun and sometimes frustrations of instances and most recently, battlegrounds (still not sure I like those lol).
I have to admit, that I've never been part of anything bigger than a 5-man group.....I hope that doesn't make everyone groan too much lol. I'm anxious to learn and expand my WoW horizons and I guess Kara will be the first venture in that vein.
I also admit that I've much to learn, and appreciate any advice, insight and/or feedback anyone can offer. I've already learned alot from the priestly posts in this forum, so I thank all of you who have contributed. :)
My professions are engineering (368 atm w/gnomish specialty) and tailoring
(375 w/mooncloth specialty) so if there's ever anything I can do to help, please feel free to give me a shout.
Now that my *short* note has turned into just short of a novella with probably way more info than you ever wanted to know lol...I'll end this with a hearty thank you and wishes for a great weekend!

Welcome!
We have all sorts of people in the guild with different play-styles. We have plenty of people who just stick to smaller groups, or just show up, farm, and leave. Some of them are trying to break out of the 5-man mold and learn new things about their character, and some just show up, farm, and leave.
We love you all.
If you are willing to come along with us in our groups, we're willing to hand out advice. I can point you toward some good people if you have specific questions about priesting.

Meh, if you are willing to learn there are lots of people willing to teach.
Welcome, Grayce!! And thanks for jumping right into our forums and not being shy. You'll find we communicate a lot on here and you'll get to know people as much on the forums as in game. Let me know if you need anything (I specialize in pantsless runs).
And yes, we love you all.... even if you don't read the forums. We just love you more if you do. ;)

Hi Grayce!
Too bad you just missed our naked event last night. I know that when Sapph started playing that was the first thing she ever did in a group and she's refused to put pants on ever since.
Looking forward to playing with ya!

Hahaha! I may just be following in her footsteps! Thank you all for your gracious welcomes! I'm really sorry I couldn't make it back last night for the nakie runs but I'm counting on there being more of those in the not too distant future! lol
A special thanks to Gothica for all his patience in helping me get Vent set up as well as his words of priestly wisdom lol. I've already learned alot since I've been with this great guild, between the advice, preferences and awesome info within this forum. Keep em coming and thanks again! :)
