Aren't two 'Lords' kind of redundant? Anyway! Khros and I went on a pug for this late last night, we lost the first time and beat him the next four. So I thought I would post some more expanded strats for guildies who want to give it a go.
Preliminary Notes:
-Nearly all the damage is magic damage. We didn't try dampen magic but use this knowledge as you see fit.
-This is an EXTREMELY mana-intensive fight for mages specifically, and I'd imagine moonkins as well, as well as healers. Bring lots of mana pots and other tricks to keep your mana up.
-Watch your damn feet. Throughout the entire fight, random spots on the ground will suddenly have an icy swirl of wind, followed by ice shards. Move quickly. If you wait too long these things will throw you up into the air with 700 damage, and then you take landing damage as well, very annoying.
-Certain areas of the ground are always icy. Don't run on these. You'll occasionally 'slip' on the ice which will stun you for 3 seconds.
-Do not bother trying to fight Ahune at all during Phase 1. Don't even dot him. He only takes 1/4 damage during the main phase, it's a waste of mana.
-Save any and all DPS trinkets and abilities for Phase 2.
Okay, so the fight itself:
PHASE 1 -
This is how the fight starts. You'll see big bad Ahune, and he'll just be chilling out. Your main focus during this phase is the adds. He will spawn 1 Elite (Earth Elemental Model) with about 50k HP, and about 30 non-elite adds with 1-2k health in packs of threes every few seconds (water and air elemental model), who are the real problem. The adds shoot frosty damage every which way, and though they have low health, they get annoying really fast.
The elite /must/ be tanked by the MT, so in order to deal with all of these little adds, we found the best strategy was to have everyone else group up relatively close to the MT. Mark your MT with a raid icon to make this easy. This keeps the adds all in one place, which makes it far easier to take them down with AOE. Seed of Corruption will kill them in a single proc, Arcane Explosion will take two or three, Hurricane maybe one or two. A Paladin tank would be awesome for this because the AOE threat would be great for picking up and holding the adds. A rogue would probably be able to beat down individual adds very quickly.
Please note everything is immune to frost damage. Which REALLY sucked since I was doing this on my Frost Mage.
One thing I couldn't figure out was if Phase 1 is based on a timer, or a certain number of the little adds. But basically, have the tank, and at least one DPS, focus on the Elite. Anyone with AOE should be working on the non-elite adds. Usually if the AOE is going on around the elite, the elite will die first, and you'll still have a few more waves of adds to deal with. Just keep beating them down as fast as possible, and prepare for Phase 2.
PHASE 2 -
You'll get a message indicating that Ahune has retreated or some such. When he does this, a new target will become available called The Frozen Core. This is your main target. If any adds are still up, deal with them asap, and then just burn The Frozen Core down with as much DPS as possible. We never had more than 3-5 adds still up when he went into Phase 2, so I'd probably recommend whoever is tanking clean them up, so the primary DPSers can focus on Ahune. You have about 30 seconds for this, after which time Ahune will reappear and Phase 1 begins again.
Wash, rinse, repeat. During our run, we sometimes got him down after the third time he got to Phase 2, sometimes it took us four rounds. Khros and I both felt that with the proper group set up he could probably be taken down in two rounds.
CLASS NOTES:
Warriors - For tanking, focus on the elite, try to pick up as many non-elites as possible, but there are /tons/ so you won't get them all. Thunderclap may be useful here.
For DPS, again, focus on the elite until it's dead, then help out killing the non-elites.
Rogues - Pretty much the same as warriors in regards to DPS. Focus on the elite but if the non-elites get too plentiful, you should be able to take down individual ones in one or two hits.
Hunters - I'd say put your pet on the elite, and maybe switch up between primary DPS on the elite, with the occasional volley shot to help with adds.
Druids - Tanking is about the same as a warrior on the elite. When the elite dies, and if there aren't tons of non-elites up, I'd recommend switching to cat form to help with the remaining adds, but conserve your energy to deal with The Frozen Core.
For Boomkins, Hurricane will help with the adds but the cooldown is what will be the problem here. I'd probably recommend waiting until you have at least 3 or 4 waves out before using it, and aside from that focus on single target damage. You may need to let the healer have your innervate.
For trees, HOTs will help alot, since there'll be alot of damage flying around from the non-elite adds and the ice spots on the ground, and also be prepared to blow Tranquility in a pinch.
Paladin - Probably the best tank for this fight, since they'll be able to hold the non-elites in one place for a good while. Just keep on the elite, and keep grabbing the non-elites as they spawn and let the AOEs do their job.
Healdins may have a hard time with this fight due to the fact that everyone will be taking a fair bit of damage, and no group heals or HOTs will make this a challenge.
Priest - Probably the best healers for this fight, primarily for group heals. Don't be afraid to use your Fleshbeast as much as possible.
Shadow Priests.. I know nothing about. I think it's mainly DOTs? Focus on the main elite, I'd suppose.
Mage - Frost Mages will suck royally at this. Mainly, focus on Arcane Explosion for Phase 1, and Fireball/Fireblast spam for Phase 2 (Or equivalent Arcane spells if you're Arcane Spec).
Warlock - SEED OF CORRUPTION. Drop it onto the elite, let it kill all the non-elites around him when it procs. Keep tossing it on the non-elites when the elite dies, but they'll be running around more chaotically so this'll make it harder.
Shaman - Noooo idea. I'm not familiar with Shaman abilities enough to offer a suggestions.

Hope this helps people a little bit! It takes a run or two to figure out how the fight works, but once you do it's pretty fun, if a little on the annoying side. ;)
You don't have to reset the instance each time he dies either - wait a minute, drink, and the activation stone will return.

I don't understand why you don't just turn up the thermostat. :D

I would like to add that this can be a fairly hard fight. At least 3 members should be heroically geared (tank / healer / one DPS).

Thanks for posting this. I'm up for trying as Beam.
I tried this as my little horde (level 68) warlock with a 69 warlock, and three 70s (warrior, rogue, shaman). It didn't work. For what it's worth, a felguard with auto-cleave is pretty useful for adds. All of the 70's were well geared, and one of them (resto-shammy) had done it on heroic (the adds hit harder, evidently) and looked like a ZA twink. Our biggest problem was just not being clear what to do.
This ain't no headless horseman, folks...

We did it on Normal ourselves. I find it strange that the adds hit harder in Heroic. The fight itself is pretty heroic on its own, and there are differences in the loot tables between doing it on either mode. Perhaps there are better percentages of getting the scythe or the pet, but who knows - I'd recommend mastering it on Normal before attempting Heroic if there is a difference.
I just did it tonight and this fight is FUN!
Okay, here are some Shadow Priest tips since Kae has no idea what we do:
Keep DoTs up on the elite and the Frozen Core. AT ALL TIMES. The little HoTs we do will help the group since we're all constantly taking dmg.
This includes your Vampiric Embrace and Touch. We had no problems with mana at all.
Keep moving...DoTing...Mind Flaying when you can (on the elite).
If you have to use your Shadowtard on the Frozen Core toward the end to get that extra dps in to finish the job, do so.
As far as the adds go, we can't AoE. I just tried to stick with the group, and wanded the adds that I could (and waited for the Seed of Corruption to go off).
I found the fight really fun and not all that hard. Just fast-paced.
