Has anyone else been watching/noticed the splash page (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/splash.html) on the WoW site?

It's been morphing a little every few days for a while now. Started out just icy looking and gradually cracked and expanded… I was wondering if it was my mind playing tricks at first but now it's official it’s changing saying the crack is much wider and giving me the “spooky eyes” now

So anyway… ya think this is just folks being board or the lead in to a big announcement. My guess is a lead in for something regarding EX2, mabe a release date or something?

It seems to be starting a buzz and I was just wondering if anyone has seen anything interesting, has some insight as to the significance or a hint of what's to come?

The general assumption is that Diablo 3 will be announced this weekend. And maybe a release date for LK.

Hit WoW Insider and browse back through the last few days of posts. They've been speculating fairly widely for the last few days. In theory this is leading up to an expo Blizzard are doing in Europe in a few days at which it is expected some sort of announcement will be made. All people need to do now is guess what that announcement will be. :)
