Heh, apparently the whole idea behind the exotic pets is an attempt by blizzard to completely block the screen with them and frustrate everyone in the raid. Could you imagine a 25-man raid with 4-5 chimaeras all fighting for screen time? The silithids look like they'd be pretty cool pets. I didn't think they were considered beasts, though. Weird. Any word on whether you lose the pets if you change specs, or if you can leave them in the stables til you spec back?

OMFG!! That's insane! How the hell are you supposed to take that into a dungeon? I can't imagine that Blizz will keep that size.
