I have the whole morning off and now WoW to play... gotta go in to work prolly about as soon as the server comes up.

I'm getting all kinds of crazy ideas in my head looking at this refer-a-friend deal and that second account I've been thinking about...

This refer-a-friend deal is only in place to drive guild leaders crazy.

Here's a little something I wrote a few years ago in Wow's youth. Back then the servers could be down for hours for no apparent reason. Berg might remember this:

What do you get when I lose my WoW?

6:30pm and the server’s down.
It’s probably been down all day.
I come home from a hard day’s work
And all I want to do is play
But I can’t cause the server’s down.
When will it come back up? Who can say?

7:00pm and the server’s gone.
This really isn’t fair.
Some might be having a grand old time
And all I can do is glare
At the list of severs but mine’s not there!
It’s 7:05pm and the server’s gone
And I don’t even know why or where!

7:30pm and the server’s not up
there must be something else to do.
I’ve got tons of other games to play
And chores that need doing too.
I’m not just going to sit here
With my eyes stuck to the screen like glue.
So the server’s not up. Who cares?
I’ll just go watch a movie or two.

7:45pm and I can’t log in.
7:50pm and I’m searching the list again
but it’s just no use, the list is meager and thin.
I guess some days you just can’t win.

It’s 8:15pm and here I am.
Bored to death and wasting my time
Working away at this dumb little rhyme.
So, what do you get when I lose my WoW?

WoW causes pain and poetry!!! :D

Ahh server down day. It drove me to buy my daughter a PSP (okay I wanted Final Fantasy Crisis Core but so did she.) Down days are becoming a bit too expensive for me :/
