September is reserved for Spore. Sorry, but Megaman will have to move to the back of the line!

Oh, the time I spent on those stupid flying platforms in the Iceman stage before I realized you can bypass them with the magnet beam.
Of course you had to get past the flying platforms on the Gutsman stage to GET the magnet beam, and they were almost as bad, but at least they were at the beginning of the stage, so if you fell you were right at the start, unlike the Iceman stage, where they were RIGHT AT THE FREAKIN' END.
The later games made me sad, because the first ones were all "this boss has a weakness for this weapon," but you could still kill them with the regular cannon if you were so inclined. The later ones were more like, "this boss will only be remotely scratched whatsoever if you use this weapon, and if you don't, you are pretty well screwed. Have fun kids!"
Least favorite moment in MegaMan: when you fire the gemini beam and needle man jumps and you know you will now be spending about ten minutes dodging him while your beam bounces around like a squirrel on speed, never going anywhere near him, but unable to fire another one until it finishes playing fucking PINBALL GRAOHWERFGLLRRRRLLLF.
