SP3 has been fine on all of our machines here at work. I actually think my machine is faster because of it.

FYI, if you crack your uxtheme.dll windows updates doesn't work anymore.

When I installed it on my Dell Latitude, it nuked the bluetooth stack. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the bluetooth stack and drivers to no avail, and finally after giving up I rebooted one more time and the Microsoft bluetooth stack installed instead of the Toshiba/Dell one. All is good now.

I wanted to wait until Vista leveled out a bit and drivers were released for various accessories; I setup a new PC 2 weeks ago with Vista x64 and I have to say I like it. There haven't been any real issues with software, the warnings are a bit annoying at times, but it does have a nice look to it and there are several subtle interface improvements.

Most importantly WoW and Ventrilo work, so life is good.

I would like to second Jorack's comments.

Don't let whiny nerd douchebag Justin Long or Psychotic Overlord Steve Jobs dissuade you from trying Vista with their now annoyingly overplayed Mac vs. PC Campaign.

I have been using Vista for 8 months now and it has only blue screened once, and that was my own fault. I leave my computer on pretty much all the time, and I never have problems with memory drains or general slow downs. The only two complains I have about Vista are, as Jorack said, the overly careful warning system (which is pretty damned useful for your average computer tard), and its lack of DirectSound support, although this has been addressed by Creative.

It's also really, really pretty.

I do have Vista on one of my machines. It's just not the one I play Wow on much. No problems out of it.

I got a new Vista system for Christmas. I haven't had any issues with it. The x64 bit version has some issues with things I do for work so I'm running on a x32 OS. Works without issue. Can't complain much.

Works great on the quad core CPU even with the lower memory limit. It is a memory pig so there are times I wish I had the x64 OS. You have to watch memory utilization with the 2GB memory limit so multiple instances of wow are out for now.

Yeah, I looked once last week and with two WoW sessions open on Vista x64, my system was using 4.8 GB of ram; yikes! Ram is cheap though, I think it was $110 to go from 4GB to 8GB which I'm glad I did.

With the new system I can run two WoWs at 1680x1050 and the performance is fine / never lags unless there is a network issue.
