I revisited a fond relationship that I used to have with Rogue Brewing and found the product to be as wonderful as my halcyon memories of it.

The beer is a bit steep here in Florida (about 12 bucks a six); but as compared to what you would pay for it in a tavern, it is a steal.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to beer drinkers who savour blond ales as it is one of the best native brewed beers I have had the pleasure to imbibe.

Folks in the Northwest can brew some damn beer, man.

Peace.

With them being in Oregon, I can get it for about half the price here in Washington. It's good stuff, for the most part. I'm not a fan of Maibocks in general so I don't really like Dead Guy. Their Juniper Pale Ale and Yellow Snow IPA is fantastic though.

I had to find the link, there is a local one I get party pigs and stuff from occasionally. It's really good. http://www.ellersickbrewing.com/index.html

I don't think they are willing to ship, but you buy the little 'Party Pig' for $30 and then just go get it refilled when you're empty.

If you ever make it up this way I'll make sure to have some in stock.

It's about $12 for a 6 here as well.

But we have Surly, so it don't make no nevermind to me. http://www.surlybrewing.com/

I have to move now...I am truly a pilgrim in an unholy land of anheuser busch natural light drinkers in this southern region of village idiots.

Why, WHY have I been consigned to abide in this hell for beer drinkers?

I BLAME THE BLOODY PIE EATERS.

I've tended to avoid Rogue beers solely out of my inherent cheapness -- they're generally only available in single 16 oz. bottles in the DC area, and they're pretty steeply priced. I like to get a little more bang for my buck (same applies to hookers and blow). But i will have to keep an eye out for 6-packs; i don't mind spending $12 if it's really good.

I too would love to live in the northwest, land of good beer. DAMN YOU, TORRIN, DAMN YOU!

But it could be worse, i could live near Pilsner. but then we could commiserate (and co-medicate) together.

Today I woke up at 7, rolled out the door at 8, picked up a few friends and then stood in line for 3+ hours for beer. Not just any beer, but the only-available-one-day-a-year Surly Darkness. 700 people got to buy it this year, and I was one of those lucky folks. Hoorah.

Man.. This is why so many youngin's drink. I don't have any idea what the majority of the words being used mean in their current configuration.. But they sound so COOL.

Rogue Brewing (Sounds rebellious and seksi.)

beer drinkers who savour blond ales (Blond ales are a few letters away from blonde gals.)

Maibocks (Rhymes with mynocks.)

I don't really like Dead Guy. (I'm not generally a fan of zombies either.)

Juniper Pale Ale (Fun to say.)

I get party pigs and stuff (???)

I could go on, but I think you get my point. Is all just so damn shwanky.
