After much thought...and cleaning my kitchen and refrigerator...I have decided that it is time for me to confess.

I know my application stated that in the great pie vs. cake debate, I was a cheesecake kind of gal. However, after cleaning my kitchen I realized that my obsession goes beyond cheesecake. I am, officially, and forevermore...a pie person. (Although cheesecake technically fulfills all the requirements of pie, and few of the cake requirements.)

Today I had to throw away a few pieces of banana cream pie, as well as two pieces of pumpkin pie. (That made me cry a little.) Since Andist doesn't eat sweets (no cake or pie) and the kids haven't been feeling well...I'm the only one has bought and eaten the pies.

So there. I'm out of the pie/cake closet.

I have 1/4 of a pumpkin pie left in my fridge from my bday.... it looks very sad that I have not finished it off yet.

*Sigh*. There was great potential for you, Ab.. I.. I only wish, for your sake, that you could've chosen the awesome path, before it came to this. You poor, poor thing.

One time, I bought this Ricotta Pie out of curiosity. And then I took it home and ate it. And it was the most amazing thing I've ever tasted.

I haven't been able to find one since. I'm also not much of a cook...sooooo...whoever will honor me with a donation of ricotta pie will get snuggles and a face-licking. Thank you.

I can't stand Ricotta. Well, at least they still call it pie.

Mmmm...the square pie. I had some blueberry cobbler with my lunch today. It was so good I almost cried.
