With less than a month to go before the expansion, I'd like to get a feel for what y'all want to focus on so we can get some runs up on the calendar(s).

I feel silly. They all sound like acceptable options.

Ya..... I'd like to do everything too.

However, as Sapph said there is less than a month left so we'll do our best to make as many people happy as we can :)

I'm noticing alot of people are interested in doing the harder 25-mans. What I'd probably suggest is use the remaining time to go over stuff that is doable for the guild, but shortly after the expansion, set up some runs for The Eye and Mount Hyjal when we have people in the level 71-75 range.

Kae is my favorite forever.

I'd love to see all that content, but I don't want to spend the next month on the extremely hard hardness (and the consumable expense) of learning new fights, especially since material rewards from those fights would be replaced soon after the expansion (if I get a new comptar).

I'm game for whatever too. Just let me know what's going on and I'll try to be there.

We never did get the chance to really, really do a lot of SSC like we had planned. So that's my first pick.

Not to call out Kae, but I do want to point out that regardless of your level, the raid bosses will always be 3 levels ahead of you.

I have no doubt that VS could do The Eye and Mount Hyjal at level 70, 71, 80 or 658 (coming in expansion 18, "Kill All Gnomes"). But it will still take time and dedication.

Remember that we had this same conversation when TBC came out. "We'll hit 70 and go kill Nefarian!" Could we have? Yes. Did we? Not that I remember.

Obviously, one of the crucial steps to accomplishing any of this is having our best and brightest sign up and show up.

Give me $5 and I'll think about it!

We did go to BWL at least once, though. There just weren't enough people to get past Razorgore the time that I went.

For me I just want to see some of the stuff I have not seen yet.

I don't really care how far we get. Go around and see as much of the area and bosses as we can. Providing we can get enough people to show, which will be a challenge.

I don't want to spend all day banging my head against a wall, but to go out and have a bit of fun and some different places. I would still learn the fights in advance, but I would not go crazy on it or getting the bosses down.

At this point it's not about advancement or gear.

, especially since material rewards from those fights would be replaced soon after the expansion (if I get a new comptar).

Same could be said for anything on the list. So if you have not gone to ZA or Kara or done Heroics now is the time, but don't expect to keep a lot of the stuff you get for a very long time.

Most of us are voting for the high end raids because we have already done everything else on the list over and over.

For me I also voted for the old end game content because I have not done it yet.

That, too.

I voted for ZA because I still have quests in there. And for 25-mans 'cause there is an achievement for fishing up the Lurker Below, and I wants it, precious.

I wonder.... If you could get in a raid, get a friendly shaman to cast water walking on you, then jump in the water and walk over to where the Lurker is without having to fight anything....

Or whether the fishes would get you.... (And whether an invisibility potion would be sufficient to fool them for long enough to run over....)

Well, just to let you guys know, if you wanted to go into Mt. Hyjal just to see stuff, you can go in anytime that you're in a raid and just wonder about. The encounters don't start until you talk to Jaina Proudemoore. So, if you wanna ride around on your mount and see what stuff used to look like back in the days before Archimonde, run on in.

Or I could use one of the 872,000 elixirs of water walking I have from fishing quests, maybe.

I'd like to see us get through BWL and AQ40. I recall having an absolute blast in aq40... The C'Thun fight is especially awesome.

The fishes will get you, I tried.

Anyway, I pushed for stuff I haven't seen yet. Old and New worlds alike.

I want to see BT at least. I don't care if we just go inside and have a dance party.

So, my co-worker just pointed out that they nerfed a bunch of raid bosses. Any clear word on how much easier that makes the harder raids?

Someone has to bring a D.I.S.C.O.!

And I agree with this sentiment. I want to see everything, dangit! I was so happy to see Naxx before they changed it up, at least until we got to Frankenpuppy. ;)

It's a 30% hp reduction for all mobs in raids (is it dungeons, too?), so raiding guilds that were having trouble before (whether due to numbers or time or what have you) are reporting flying through before hitting the Stay Out Of The Fire walls of Illidan and Archimonde. Trash rooms that were still 40 minutes just due to volume (looking at you, Supremus) are now getting mowed through in about 10.

It's a really nice change, and I'm happy for it. There's so much amazing lore in Hyjal and BT that everyone should get a chance to see.

That makes me lean a little more toward attending some of the harder raids ... I just would prefer not to spend the last few weeks before the expansion in the persistent frustration that comes from learning really hard new encounters. (Don't get me wrong, I really loved being part of the guild learning Kara, but that didn't start a month before Kara was going to essentially become obsolete.)

I wouldn't mind trying some newer content. I just want a chance to try out my new skills! :)

I wouldn't want to do anything that you'd still have to get attuned for though... I thought Naxx was a bit much...
