So, not to brag or anything, but I've got a decent chunk of spare disk space and a nice fat pipe from Verizon. I'm sitting on 15Mb up and down.

What does this mean for you? Well, I've noticed a few calls for places to host things like patches and some extraneous files for sharing. Basically, a place where you can ditch shit online. I've created an account on tenminutesout.net that you can upload things to via sftp (if you aren't familiar with that, you can just use filezilla and make sure you set it to port 22, then it'll work just like ftp).

I don't remember where you guys help information like the password to vent and whatnot, but I'd like to put this log in information in the same place.

Web access for anything put up there is http://www.tenminutesout.net/vs/<filename> You'll need to know the file name as I've got browsing turned off. So you can throw mp3s or images up there and just make links for people to grab.

And lets keep things that would get me in trouble with law enforcement and my ISP off of there if you don't mind. But other than that, it's open space.

I've thought about doing similar, I just need to get the backyard cleaned up a little bit.

With my current host (dreamhost) I actually get rewarded with MORE space and MORE bandwidth when I use it all up. Crazy, huh.
