I've been checking up on this site occasionaly. They've started making some more recent updates, including some video. Some day having a castle might be possible!

Was that website built in 1997?
It looks like it. Hey they build castles not websites! ;)

Do these guys seriously take from 2004 to 2008 to partially complete a castle? That's sort of slow, isn't it?

Construction of Cologne cathedral (size of a good sized castle) began in 1248 and finished in 1880.
Construction of Caernarvon castle began in 1283 and (sorta) finished in 1323.
Construction of Carrickfergus castle began in 1177 and was finished over a number of centuries.
Four years is doing pretty good....

You must work for the same company constructing the University parking garage here on campus... hehe. One parking garage--18 months--and it looks like another 12 to completion, making it 20 months behind schedule...
Those castles were constructed before cranes and powertools... so they are supposed to take a while...

According to their FAQ, it takes 2 years to build one on average. The FAQ also states it takes three people to build a small castle keep, five people for a medium sized castle and ten or more for a large castle.
Obviously, they are not built for speed.
I also assume that even using some newer construction techniques, they are building by hand, taking longer than usual compared to modern buildings.
These folks might be more stupid than a box of rocks, but it looks like they have actual castles standing and I would trust them (with a little background checking on their work) more than any other sort of contractor if I wanted a castle built due to their unique experience.
Trust me, if I hit a lottery or some other fluke of riches befalls me, I will be talking to them. Which means I'll never be speaking to them. :(

OK, so am I just missing the pictures of the completed castles then?
Cause that's what I was looking for.
Ok, I neglected to look in the "Castles for Sale" section.
Those are really nice, I'm sorry I was just thinking they were still working on the first one.
I'll take a Castle Michelle, please.
