For those that care about this sort of thing, there is an achievement for logging in today.

It is the 4th anniversary of WoW's release and if you log in today you'll get a Bear pet.

Actually, I've seen several people get it since that day. I think you will probably get it when you finally get the expansion and log on.

Yea, same here , not sure how they coded it. If it is already in your mail box, then I guess you got 30 days to come get it. Unless they don't pop it in your mail box till you log in.
