I found a thread on WoW's official threads that made me spit water out of my nose. Figured I'd share.


I'm copying this after reading just the first page so I'll apologize if it doesn't get better after that. (It was the second reply that had me laughing)

Winter Hats are serious business!

Cake is covetous of a sombrero and will wrest it from Don Carlos in due time.

Carlos will rue the day that he mocked Cake.

Dungeon Bosses need warm ears too! I am frankly shocked that some people are so adamant about denying those mobs in monster upper management access to appropriate winter apparel.

Any official in a dungeon MR (Monster Resources) department can clearly outline the relevant regulations entitling any mob to warm and festive headgear!

Anyone who complains about this is just trying to rewind the clock to the days when monster labour rights were not at parity with those of, say, gnomes, elves, or chartered accountants.

Will we let them get away with this? I say nay!

I don't really think that it's fair to limit the winter hats strictly to dungeons. Some people don't like doing them, and it makes them virtually impossible to get. If you go into a dungeon with a pug group or even your own guild you're not guaranteed to get it anyway. Why can't Blizzard make it a little easier to aquire the winter hats?

Right, maybe we could get them from dueling in front of the city or spamming /trade. Or by getting signatures on a guild charter for a new casual guild that will run instances at 80 and has a tabard.

No denying it. I just wanted to join in the fun. :)
