Hey all,


So if any of you have noticed me log on for a min or so and then disappear... well you didn't get my "My computer is fucked" message before my computer crashed (multiple times).

My computer seems to have died and am now using my backup (aka old piece of junk laptop). I won't be able to be online until my boyfriend gets here and gives me his laptop that he doesn't use anymore. /sigh it sucks. My computer was only 2 years old and a really decent size for traveling.

I haven't gotten it checked out yet but it seems to be toast (as in hardware is screwed I think). I kept crashing with this little box with lines which was about a square inch on my cursor when it was crashing. It would only really crash when playing WoW but I had some issues with start up over the past few weeks (would freeze up and lag).

So now, what does my computer do? Well, the screen turns on for 2 second intervals every 5 seconds after windows takes 10 mins to load (that is, if it feels like it) and the display is screwed. It only shows half the screen which is totally distorted. My computer at times wont even shut off manually.

That is the problem, and I typed it out just in case one of you has magically witnessed something like that. I will take it to a tech guy but it won't even load the windows CD (not like I could see the set up anyway) so I am guessing it is a write off.



Anyway, the point of this message was just to say that I won't be around for a little while. This shit happened and then my BF will be here for two weeks. Yay! Considering I only get to see him for 2 weeks every 6 months, I would hope you don't see me in game very often =D

I hope you all had a great new year and have a good Jan. I haven't been in the guild for long, but I wanted to mention that I am really enjoying VS and you guys are an AWESOME group of people to be around. This is probably the nicest online community I have ever come across and I am really happy I am a member of it. So, thanks again!

Healthier state of... everything I hope. 6 months is a long time!

It sounds like the processor overheated to me.

I'm sure you will experience some of that in the next 2 weeks, so you probably won't even miss it.

Then you can get it fixed...
