There quite a few Filipino people I work with. I have seen balut many times, and the photos do it no justice. NO! I have not eaten it. They also eat this blood liver dish they call chocolate meat or something like that. That I did try. Not into it, and will never eat it again.

I am up for eating almost anything (as long as it doesn't involve a lot of animal cruelty - like money brains or dogs).
I should post a video that might make a few of your squirm, but unfortunately it is on my dead computer's HD, and for some reason my backup HD won't work on this one...

Oh trust me, nothing that bad. I think the most unpleasant 'weird' thing I have eaten was a chicken head, but that isn't even that weird. The vid is of eating severed octopus tenticles that continue to move and stick to things hours after being cut off. They are annoying, really, (buttaste pretty good) they stick to your teeth and chopsticks.
