With all the loss in the world it is hard to focus on what is important.
People die all the time either by natural causes, accidents or by the hand of someone else.
We can focus on the negative or look at the positives in life.
Every once in a while I'm reminded to look at the positive side if for no other reason than to celibate the beginning of a new life. Like that of my newest Grandson.
Brandon Connor Berry
Born 1/14/09 5:45am MST
19 in â 8lbs 16 oz
15 minutes after they arrived at the hospital Brandon was born--a fast and natural childbirth.
Life has new meaning when you look into the eyes of a child. Looking into the eyes of a newborn is like looking into the fountain of youth as the cycle of our lives continues.
I can only hope that Brandon will see a better place that the one I've lived in.

Congratulations to you and your family!
(I can't resist mentioning the interesting Freudian slip of saying "celibate" instead of "celebrate" though!!!!)

Other people having babies is definitely a fantastic cause to be celibate.
Gratz!

Yeah I read this as "Another cause to be celibate." I'm glad that isn't the case, though...

Actually, I had no part in the conception (thank God), outside of being the father of the Husband. So celibate is kind of how I look at this.
But, you are correct, this is a Cause for Celebration.
Thanks.
