Jack already has a high level blacksmith/Armorsmith (420)

My Pally also has blacksmithing/armorsmith (400)

So far I see that all the stuff is BOE which means we really don't need to high level armorsmiths. I am missing something?

Should I dump BS all together and pick up something else, ie engineering or JC or Maybe switch to Weapsonsmith, though I see some pretty good BOE stuff for Maces for regular BS as well so I am not sure how worth it weapsonsmith is.

Any advice?

There's some bop blue stuff for level 78... other than that the level 80s epics are all boe. So there's really no good reason to pick armorsmith over weaponsmith. Imo the only good reason to stick with smithing is for the extra sockets on your gloves and bracers.

Which I can already make so I would not need to level it any higher.

Now the question is are those two gem sockets worth more than what I could gain from Engineering or JC?

Always a possibility, just would hate to dump my mining to be able to pick up both.

I have a couple of miners, I just running by the stuff while questing and not picking stuff up.

Plus there is nothing like farming stuff on a pally with epic flight and crusader aura.
