I'm trying to cut grass this afternoon and over the noise of the lawnmower I hear and look up to see 6 blue and yellow jets fly by, close enough to see the pilots inside.

The Blue Angels are in town for a show tomorrow and I guess the're out practicing and drumming up business. They are also buzzing my house!

I thought there was some sorta law saying they couldn't do flybys below a certain elevation? Maybe that's just here.

I'm sorry you're annoyed though!

The Blue Angels were stationed at the Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL where I grew up. My mom's house is about 3 miles from the base, so my friends and I would climb onto our roofs and watch them practice pretty regularly.

I always thought they put on a wonderful show!

My two sisters went to the show Saturday and said it was great! A crowd of about 150k showed up and it was a beautiful day.

Wasn't really annoyed, They just scared the shit out of me the first time they zoomed low over the house. :)

With all the planes that have been falling out of the sky recently in urban area's I could see why.

Blue Angels are amazing. I really miss seeing them perform :3

Nah Abia that's a FAA reg, it's 1000 ft over populated areas, 500 ft over unpopulated. (thats for day vfr, non mountainous terrain) That's not very high in case you are wondering...

I work near the Willow Grove Naval Air base. I get fly overs all the time. It's pretty cool. I enjoy it.
