I think I'm beginning to like Polls too much...
(dee-da-dee, no one in this group will possibly make a snide remark about that comment...)

So...
For Friday and Sunday I thought I would have an actual Dinner Plan (coming soon to a poll near you). But I thought Saturday may be a little difficult to do that way.

I'm thinking some people may want to stay later at the park, and others will want to get a real dinner before heading out to Karaoke, and still others may want to see what kind of "bar food" they can get at the Karaoke bar.

So, what do you think about Saturday? Should I plan a place for us to go, or should we plan on being on our own for Saturday dinner?

Come on ride the poll... wait, that sounds really bad, doesn't it...

There is a lack of "either is fine with me" choice...

I am forcing you to have an opinion...

I thought if I put an "either" answer I would have 20 "eithers" and no opinions... which would put me back at square one...

Okay. Here is the problem with "Go out and eat as a group" as opposed to "People can break up and eat wherever:" 1. Not all 20 or so people are going to agree on what kind of food they want and someone is going to end up disappointed. 2. 20 people trying to find a place where they'll take all of us on a Sat. night? With no reservation? Uh uh. 3. If we DO make a reservation at a restaurant, that means yet another poll where we all have to decide where we're going to eat. Sigh.

I liked how we did it in Toronto where we'd have a few options of activities going at once and it was like "Well, we're going to go to this place at 10am. If we don't see you, this is where we'll be at 1pm if you'd like to meet us for lunch" or "Some of us want to go see this movie, some of us are going back to our room to rest, and some of us are going to the artsy side of town for a bit. We'll meet up at 6pm." That way it felt more relaxed and not like we're this moving drove of 20 people at all times.

Just some thoughts; not trying to blow everything up. Anyone else from VSCON 1 have any opinions on this? I mean, I know that Wonderland and Soto Soto pretty much included all of us, but as I recall, the rest of the time, we were split up randomly.

Actually I agree with you here.

More of what I'm trying to figure out in this question is if I should even bother coming up with a place to go for a dinner option... or if most people are going to stay at the park until pretty late, then I won't bother.

What it looks like your saying (and I'm getting so far from the responses) is that I should go ahead and make some sort of plan.

I don't really expect everyone to do everything... Some of us don't like the same things, others are on a different budget, etc.
I plan on putting up a sign up a little closer and letting people decide on what they want to do. I guess I'm just trying to get a little bit of a consensus before I start doing that (and we have quite a bit of time).

The only time sensitive things are getting the Bud Tour reserved if some folks want to do the Uber tour... and getting your rooms reserved before the deadline...

Any more comments, of course, are always appreciated, but again I think we are on the same page.
