Hey guys,

So today is patch day and a lot of things are going to be changing in the game.

If you haven't been keeping up on what's up here are some helpful links for ya!

WoW Matrix has been disabled by Curse and WoW Interface. It will most likely be updated soon to circumvent these problems but there is a good chance that updating your addons to work with 3.1 will be a more difficult procedure today.

Ulduar is the new 10/25 man raid that is introduced today. It was up for limited testing on the PTR over the last few weeks and as such there is quite a bit of info on some of the boss fights. It is supposed to be more difficult that Naxx which VS still struggles to finish weekly on 10 man and has yet to complete on 25 man as a group. We will be getting in there, but if anyone wants to to PUG it because they are super anxious they are welcome to. My schedule is up in the air this week, but the raid leaders are welcome to post runs if they are up for the challenge. Please keep in mind that it will be tough on them since they don't know what to expect..... so go to have fun and hang out with friends and don't expect to walk through the place. (Although, it is possible that we may do very well on our first try)

We've been discussing how our loot rules need to change in order to reflect Dual Spec and still be fair to everyone involved. They will be posted before an official VS raid heads out into 3.1.

Hopefully you guys are as excited about this patch as I am. :)

I will protest by manually downloading all of my updates...

I don't know if it's my router, but the patch download is painfully slow. I already had about 2/3 of it, but the remaining 220 MB are just trickling in. At this rate, I'll be able to check out the new content by May.

Is your downloader throttling turned on? Check the Preferences & turn off the throttling.

Not that it really matters right now. They are estimating to have the game up by 9 or 10 server and even then who knows if they can pull it off and it what shape it will like when it's back up.

I have redone all my specs and dual specs in the talent calculator. And I will look at it tomorrow.

My downloader is being a stupid fuck.
