Bout time Deus Ex had a reboot

Yeah! That's also kinda why I'd rather get it on the xbox than PC. It's easier to overlook flaws.

It looks neat, I may even want to try it and I am normally not into anything that looks like a FPS. This almost looks like Dark Angel meets I am Legend...virus in New York infects population and the government is trying to control/contain the issue. You are a genetically altered hero/villain and the average person is not aware of the real problems facing the world. Kinda gives me a bit of a Nighbane vibe as well in the whole shape-shifting idea as well.

I would go over the reviews first to see how the playability is on both systems. I guess it also depends on the power of your PC. If your PC is not a power house and you think it might be an issue then X-Box it for sure.

Read the IGN.com review and they said the animation was nice but the graphics engine was horrid. The large number of abilities you get keep the game somewhat fun but they kind of seemed disappointed as a whole. They gave it a 7.5/10.

Yeah I dunno. Haven't got it yet. I might do that here in the next couple days. If I go to gamestop I can use the credit I have and just return it if it sucksballs.

Bought it over Steam for the PC.

It's pretty fuckin' awesome. It gets a little boring after a while, but if you want fast moving carnage and pretty good cut scenes, I recommend it.

If you liked games such as Heavenly Sword, you'd dig this.

Ill wait till steam has it for a weekend deal, that's usually about 3 weeks after release.

I've gotten pretty far in it, it's pretty awesome.

Not only can you just do random destruction and nifty ninja moves against anyone you see, the mission target system is pretty good so you just follow an arrow to get to your next point of interest.

It's got a point system for buying new abilities, which doesn't really make any sense, but it's pretty easy to get more points when you need them. Any of the 'Infected' that you kill get you more points.

Also, at the end of each mission it gives a breakdown of your destruction which is always awesome. It will tell you the amount of money you cost the gubment. My best, $493billion.

Penny Arcade have something to say about Prototype....

That about sums up the game :)
