I think that this could possibly be the most beautiful mount to be won in the game.

The colour could only be described as French Ultramarine Blue, which would work very well with my glowing eye sockets; have we ever attempted to get one of these dragons?

I think that I have only seen one, so far; for a shot to roll on one of these I would be willing to sit up straight, pay attention, and act like a reasonable mature adult.

We've only done it with 1 drake up so far and I believe this only drops with 3 drakes up. Our sign-ups have been a little lacking lately and it would be impossible to attempt without a full group of 25. But we'll keep posting OS as usual and see what happens!

Nope.... you do get a drake... but it is Reins of the Black Drake in 10 man with 3 drakes up. The twilight drake is from 25 man with 3 drakes up.

The 10 man version is also much more difficult from what I've read.

I think we're getting pretty close to the point where we can do two drakes up on 25 man.

But it really depends on our signups. If we have a full raid and everyone brings their top geared toons we'd have a very good shot. But our guild is a casual guild and everyone likes playing alts. There's nothing wrong with that, that's what people find fun, and to be honest that is more important in our raids than hardcore progression.

We'll keep working at stuff like this as people get more gear from 25 man Naxx and now Ulduar and VoA. I don't think they'll be removing the drakes, so by the time we start getting gear from the new 3.2 instances we may find ourselves in a position that we can farm one drake a week for people. That'll be nice :)

I intended to sign up more since I finally hit end game for the first time ever. In fact, I have signed up more, just not a lot. If that ever changes then maybe I can help make this happen for all the deserving anal retentive mount hoarders? That's my life's goal for now.

True story. Also though, wottelkay content has a nasty habit of generally not having the actual stuff be really ALL that much harder on heroic mode. 25 man is usually easier because of the people you can bring for it.

That isn't the case in Ulduar it seems, or when people are bringing a bunch of alts. I'm guilty of this now, but Bexy's healing as nearly doubled in one night!

You know I'd be game for trying this. 10 or 25 man. And since I don't have any alts, it'll always be Xqualin that I bring. Now... what spec...?
