I dumped a bunch of merchandise on some toon named "MN' instead of my primary mule "MNEME". I mailed the person requesting it back, and put in a ticket.

Has anyone had this happen and was there a happy outcome?

I've had it happen once and the person sent it back. I sent it to Marv instead of Marvin.

The player was pretty nice about it, but apparently did check his mail often because it took a while to get the stuff.

I've accidentally sent something to a guildie and they returned it. Obviously. But never with a stranger. Hope you get your stuff back!

The character Mn doesn't show up on the armory for Eitrigg which means it hasn't been played since the patch or it's below level 10. Hopefully the former, which would mean that your mail will be returned to you when the 15 day timer runs out.

My advice would be to add the name to your friends lists with a note so you remember who it is. /friend mn Dood that won't return my shit!

If you see him log on and he hasn't returned your stuff, you could appeal to his better nature. I don't know how much stuff you sent him or what it was worth, but you could offer him a gold reward for return of the items if it was substantial.

Not everyone would return it, but I think there are enough good natured folks around that it's worth a shot.

Spoke to a GM, who said they would fix the problem.
