So I am a little out of the loop on the new epic gems.

I want +20 str gems. I have a shit ton of the uncut rares. As I understand it, there is a transmute to make the epix. Are guild JCs willing to do this with mats, or am I taking away a source of income by asking?

Alchemists do the transmute. I'd be happy to donate Uvula's cooldowns. The only Eternals I have on hand are Lifes, which I can transmute to Fires, but that of course is another day's cooldown. So, either send me some Scarlet Ruby and Eternal Fire, or just the ruby if you're okay with the extra day.

The transmute to make raw epics (using blues and a primal) is an alchemy recipe on a 20 hour cooldown shared with just about every other transmute they do. Frocked's is currently engaged. :(

I can transmute them too if you need, Bren. Syl rarely ever uses that cooldown.

You probably already know this but uncut epic gems can be purchased with emblems of heroism and valor.

And if you need them cut, I have the bold pattern.

Don't forget you can buy gems with honor too. Go to WG, get all the quests there, get them all done in one game and you'll have enough for a gem. Mind you those quests are weekly quests.

Sapph also has cooldowns. She uses them sometimes but not every day.
