The muffled noises from the gimp in my closet are hard to interpret, I need your help.

I'm moving to it at work as soon as possible. I ran into a problem with purchasing giving me the quote for the wrong version, ordering the wrong version, and then finding out our contracted software vendor doesn't have the right version until today...

So, its will likely be after the first of November. If I like what I see, I'll probably upgrade my home PC.

It has a nice driver store.

The next rig I am buying is gonna be a Mac.

I'm getting it as a free upgrade for my laptop, but for 7 more weeks. Still, I'm pretty excited to be trying it! Woot!

If I had a Vista Machine I might think about it. But since I am running on XP, I stuck with don't fix it if it ain't broke. I don't really play any DX10 games.

Not matter what I would prolly wait a couple of months for them to sort out any major release issues before upgrading.

I just grabbed a copy this morning. I'll probably install it this week though I'm having some serious computer problems at the moment. I'm going to run a bunch of tests over the next couple of days to try and figure out what's wrong with it.

as some of you may know i got a new job recently. we FINALY got a best buy in tuscaloosa. i am on the geek squad. we opend ON the 22nd so this weekend has been crazy. just about all of our PCs have W7 on them already so ive been able to play around with it. it's very nice. uses next to no ram when idle (compared to vista) even with all the cool effects enabled. we are doing a 39.99 install (price includes the software!) for people who bought systems fro best buy within the last 6 months or so. i just started installing it for our first upgrade client last night. im sure ill be installing it a bajillion more times over the next few weeks.

I've been running it for a few days now. Love it.
