Edit to say that Fox sent KT a PM about this. Also, after hours of drunk spamming the guy, he finally responded to Fox saying, "buy this account with $" so it sounds like a gold farmer who doesn't speak English. :p

Out of sheer curiosity, how does an account that old get hacked? Are they getting account names from The Armory or how in the heck do they get this info if kidneythief isn't even playing for over a year? Is it pure luck or is it someone typing gibberish into the login screen for days at a stretch?

I don't have any canceled accounts so not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if perhaps the email account associated with the account was compromised and Blizz sent some 'Come Back to WoW!' email or something.

Ya I was wondering the same thing. KT's toons hadn't logged in for 2 or 3 years. I'm kinda thinking they have bots just putting in random passwords and logins.

There'd have to be an e-mail with his account name still in there. While that's possible, I still play WoW and I don't think my account name is in my e-mail anywhere. But, if you say it's easy enough to figure out, then I'll go with it!
