I grabbed an addon after seeing an article on WoW.com and I figured I'd let you guys know about it since it's seven different kinds of awesome.
I was able to get rid of a couple addons and keep track of a couple things I wasn't keeping track of before. Here are some of the ways you can set it up:
- As a DoT DPS class you can set up the bar to track your DoTs on your target. As you change targets you'll see exactly which DoTs are on the target, and how close they are to falling off.
- Short term buffs that you need to keep up on yourself (Slice and Dice for example) can be easily kept track of on the same bar.
- And here is the most important one - that will help out the entire raid: If you have a major debuff that you should be keeping up you can track to make sure that it is ALWAYS up and giving the rest of the team benifit. Some examples of this are Sunder, Expose Armor, Faerie Fire, Winter's Chill, Misery, and Ebon Plaguebringer. The best part is that you can set the bar to watch your target for not just your debuffs but for those of the other raid members as well. As soon as we start fighting I can see whether we have a warrior that is using Sunder and if we don't, I use Expose armor and keep using it.
I think that last point is going to make a real difference in us being able to tackle some of the harder stuff we're seeing in Icecrown. If you're playing a class that has one of those debuffs and you aren't keeping track of them, I strongly recommend picking this addon up.

Here's a video of it in action. The addon is the the Bar at the very bottom of the screen in the center with icons moving left and also the two bars above with icons moving towards the center.

I read that article yesterday and was tempted to try it out. Glad to hear it's worth it; I'll mess around with it this weekend.

Ya for you it would be great. You could have a focus target on the boss (Unless you use it for something else) and make sure that Faerie Fire is up if you're the only druid - or the other druids are lazy.

Don't DO that to me Fox. I just had to go to make sure it still automatically applied with my disease casts. I thought they changed something I had to do manually that I missed.

I was just reading off the list of buffs that other classes can do that change my required hit rating and such.
What, man?
