So when 3.3.3 launched, a bunch of us had the 'hangs at loading screen' problem. The patch that came out today supposedly fixed that? Now I am stuck at loading screen 100% of the time. I can't log in. Anyone else having issues?

I did have to run the downloader twice this morning for the fix; but beyond that I have had no troubles.

Delete your "Cache" directory. That fixed it for me.

C-Rob and I sometimes have that problem logging in and switching toons.

No issues since the fix.

I have had the problem, but if I stop the program it usually works the next time.

I have been having the same problem since the patch.


Click star -> run -> CMD

from the dos prompt type ipconfig /dnsflush

wait for confirmation, close window and open wow. It seems to have cleared it up for me.

Nevermind, it worked for a couple loads then went back to screwing up.

After forcing it out, it will work on the second load for me. But that is getting really old.

Same thing. But once I X out and reopen WoW, it seems to work. The first day of the patch, it did it whenever I ported anywhere, too.

It loads on the second try for me, but will often lock up again on the next load screen when trying to do an instance or something similar.

No issues here personally.

Try renaming your addon folder or deleting them and logging in without them.

Tried it before and it didn't work. There is a 70 page long thread on the support forums of people with the same problems.

Blizzard made a post suggesting you lower your video settings and that that helped some people. Doesn't sound like a fix to me sounds like they introduced a bug with the patch, but they haven't really acknowledged a problem on their end.
