Alrighty, we have Friday night and Sunday day/night to decide on. Sunday during the day is mostly going to be a "free" day of wandering around but if there is enough interest then we can do a scheduled lunch or event. Choose all options that appeal to you and I'll fill in the schedule with our top picks. And I'll be making reservations for any meals/tickets/tours that I can, so please submit your votes sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment!

Seems that Revolution is having the finale of the Miss Boston Rock Goddess contest the Friday we are there. Could be fun? Could be lame? http://www.revolutionrockbar.com/flyers/100505_MissBoston_poster_blast.jpg

Tavern has a Sunday brunch that looks good. http://www.tavernonthewater.com/menu.htm

A brewery tour! Why didn't I think of that earlier? May I suggest, rather than the Sam Adams tour- Harpoon Brewery is much closer to our hotel and it a little more unique. They offer tours on Sundays at 12, 1, 2, and 3.

Oh, hell, yeah, Harpoon makes some great stuff.

I'm going to call about reserving the following:

Sunday
12:30 brunch @ Tavern turns out they don't take reservations but they told me the earlier we get there the better, so I'm thinking maybe we aim for 11:00 instead
2:30 water taxi ride Tavern to brewery
3:00 brewery tour doesn't look like they will do a private tour so we'll just have to take our chances - if we don't get on a tour we can always just have a beer together there
7:00 dinner @ Living Room booked
9:00 Ghost Tour waiting for group pricing info

If anything requires pre-payment I will ask you guys before buying you a ticket. Stay tuned!

For Friday I'm having a hard time figuring out if Revolution is the right place for us. I don't know how crowded and loud it's going to be or how group-friendly it is. Or how teeny-boppy it is. I've sent a request for info on getting VIP section so we can at least have some space to hang out, but I have no idea how pricey that might be. I might call them and just ask them what we can expect and then we can decide. So let's leave Friday night in limbo for the moment.

And in the meantime, if anyone has any other suggestions for Friday's dinner, let's hear 'em. Would ideally like to be close to the hotel. Bacco didn't get a lot of votes so I will put up a new poll for Friday dinner once I get a few suggestions.

I have sent emails and left voice messages for the brewery, ghost tour and Revolution but no answer... frustrating! Any other ideas? I suppose we could just try and show up at the brewery the day of. In which case I'll go ahead and reserve dinner that night for 7pm. Ghost tour requires reservations so I'll keep trying. That leaves Friday dinner and outting... HELP!!

Updated schedule below. Reservation has been made at The Living Room. When I get group price info for the ghost tour I'll post a poll before buying the tickets. Looks like we're gonna have to wing the first part of the day - Tavern & brewery tour and hope for the best.

The ghost tour people are impossible to reach! I'm going to leave it up in the air for now. If we really feel like doing it, we can call them when we are there and try to set it up. In the meantime, I think everything else is pretty solid. Check out the full itinerary and let me know if you have any other comments!

PS- I'll be printing up some maps and itineraries for us to use while there.

Call up those ghost tours people, tell them to suck your cack (that is Boston-ese for penis) and that you're going to find somewhere else to spend your money!

LISTEN UP:
At some point, we're all going to find ourselves boozing it up in Mayhew's room. Maybe after karaoke. This shall be UGLY SHIRT NIGHT.

Bring your ugliest shirt to wear. There may be a contest. The judge will probably end up being the asshole who didn't bring an ugly shirt. There may be a prize. Or...not.

This message brought to you by Agz and Shadz.

p.s. I'm bring a flip video-thinger for documentation.

Okay, why wasn't this posted when I was still at my Mom's house this afternoon? I could have totally picked a winner. As it is, I am stylin' and do not own any ugly shirts.

Seriously. 85% of my clothes are in a moving truck making its way across the county, and thats where it will be until after I get back from Boston. :( Time to go to Goodwill.

We can always do a little shopping Thursday before heading into Boston. I need to pick up another pair of shorts.

Might I suggest a run to the thrift store, everyone??? Or yes. Your mom's house. :)
