We have those old guild-of-the-month essays floating around somewhere that should be good useable material. This one is only 50-250 words required, and they're picking about 500 winners.

I'll write something up for sure.... but I'm probably going to have to lie. I'm not sure I want to push the cataclysm content to the limit since everything I do will be erased and there are still things on live I want to finish. It would be cool to have the whole guild admitted though.

Yeah, I'm not sure about actually spending all our time in there. Also, its the guild leader + 9 people, not the whole guild.

Nowhere in the rules could I find it say one entry per guild, or that it has to be submitted by the guild leader.

Betas are not really designed to test all the end game content from beginning to end. Most likely they will be making specific requests like, everyone make a worgen or go to X 5 man or raid. This phase will be more of a PR thing, they don't expect you to play through it all and will probably at times boost characters to test a particular facet they need tested at the time. No real need to lie about our guild, they need testers ranging from elite to casual.
