I have gotten through to Revolution Rock Bar at last!! Here's the deal:
No cover. Age range will be 21-35. They claim it will be a pretty good night.
VIP seating available: minimum one bottle of booze starting at $250 ($20/person). Seats around 8-10 people but we could just get the one table... we just won't all be able to sit at once. Line by-pass available for 8 people.
They also serve dinner at the bar: http://www.revolutionrockbar.com/restaurantmenu.html. It's a pretty decent menu. If we go early for dinner we won't have to worry about line by-pass.
Please cast your votes so I can make reservations. I need to give my credit card for the VIP seating.

For a good reason, too. The option was considered and not pursued. Massachusetts has no love for the working women.
Unless you are into male strippers... There are a few good gay clubs downtown.

Change my vote to dinner and rocking out. I read this post to SOMEONE who said it didn't sound interesting so we weren't planning on going. Then they went to actually read for themselves and changed their mind.

I'm not 100% certain this is going to be all WOW AWESOME. But since it's only going to cost us $20 in drinks, I say we give it a shot and maybe it will turn out to be a great time.
Since there are 9 of 13 saying yes to this, I'm going to go ahead and reserve dinner and VIP for us.
Edit to say that if anyone is not up for staying out after dinner, I have no problem paying their share toward the bottle of booze that we buy. I'm sure I won't let it go to waste!

I have made our reservation!
Dinner at 8:30 followed by VIP table. We get our own personal cocktail waitress for the night and other than having to buy the first bottle of booze, we can just order anything from her from the bar.
