You may recall that early in 2009 we had guildies apply to be Caterers.
We had set a one-year term on this position, and it is now well beyond that so it is time to start a new process! We will be demoting all Caterers and new Caterers will be promoted over the next several months.
What we expect of Caterers:
People who want to help others, post runs, run guild events, welcome new members, and make suggestions about how to make VS even more awesome than it is. Note that Caterers are not expected to deal with raiding issues or guild drama. We like to keep the Officer forum a happy place.
The new application process:
We will be starting try-outs for the Caterer position immediately. Anyone who has been in the guild for 6 months or longer can apply, and you can apply even if you have already been a Caterer. If you are interested in this position, your first task will be to plan a guild event of some sort. Can be anything, short, simply, complex, anything. Feel free to collaborate with each other on this. Submit a PM to Lux, Sapph and Fox stating why you want to be a Caterer and that you are ready to post your guild event. We will then give you the go-ahead to make a guild event post on a night that we are available. If you succeed in this mission, your second try-out will be to host a slave night where you whore yourself out to your guildies to do whatever they like. If you succeed in this task, your application process will be complete and we will give you our final decision.
Please note:
You do not need to be a Caterer to post runs, help guildies, and plan guild events. Anyone in the guild can do this. We just like to have some people with this "official" title so people know who they can go to if they are too shy to post their own runs or whatever.

The Caterers have now all been demoted. (Thanks so much again for all your work!) We are caterless!! Don't forget to send us a PM if you are interested in being an officer.
And on a similar note... we are adding X to our fold of raid leaders. Be sure to act like complete idiots on his first few raids just to see if he can handle us. ;)
