So, I was going to set up a fantasy league on NFL.com for this season so I could fill up with people who were actually interested in playing. My sister wants to try it out and I have a coworker interested, but I still need 9 more players...

If anyone is interested and I can fill out the league I'll start that up.

The site is a bit annoying, so when you get the email, you may have to sign up for NFL.com, then go open the email and click on the link again to get to the right page. I may be wrong, but I don't think so.

At any rate, follow the other instructions in the email and you should get in.

I set it up as "auto-draft" because I didn't guess we'd actually be able to get everyone together to do the manual draft. To set up the Auto-draft so you can try to get the players you want. Go to the "My Team" tab near the top of the page and select menu item that appears below "Pre-draft rankings." Then you can "Edit your pre-draft rankings" by hitting the big yellow button.

No can do. I was forced into a friend's league last year and I think there are bad feelings as I did not perform up to expectations. Apparently the team I fielded was not competitive enough because I played the players I wanted although they weren't the best available (in their opinion). IMO, it's better to have an interested party play 2 teams than force someone that isn't interested into (supposedly) running a team into the ground.

Mal, your friends take their league too seriously. Personally, I think you should drag them all outside and kick the shit out of them. Once you have done that, then call the football players, who also don't give a shit about your friends league, and tell them that your friends say they suck, but you kicked all their asses in retribution.

But you probably lack enough tatts for a football player to understand you properly; so it is a moot point.

Last year I got beat by Hom's little sister which I have not forgotten...
