I know I'm not the only guildie who was at the con. Of course, I had to forget my camera. But I got some people to take pictures for me. Just posting one for now, may do more later, but I figure everyone else who went can post to this thread to if they so desire.
So, here's what I wore day 3 of the con:

Xan made an excellent booth babe.
And thanks, Rastus, for sending your friend over to us to say hello. I hope she enjoyed the coffee!

Arachne and I went Steampunk. There's probably a better picture than this on her camera, but for now I found this one on someone's Flikr site...

You know we tried to come up with a way to do something for her this year, it was just very hard to fit in. So next year I have two very big ideas. You'll just have to stay tuned...

Those were 1 of 2 pairs I was looking at online. The other were ankle boots, which I also bought, and wore with another outfit.
Here's a few more pics of general con goodness that I lifted off a friend's Facebook page:

Here's a better picture of Arachne and I.
I finally decided on those shoes after looking for a good long while, Bren, they were actually my second favorites, but they cost about $200 less than my favorites...
At any rate:

Oh, and for fun...

Stan "THE MAN" Lee, to you... lol
Or, as I like to call him, "Grandpappy Stan."

Steampunk can be done cheaply if you are just going for the overall theme of it. Just look for something Victorian, dress it up with a little bit of lace and some patches of leather and you'd be set.
I love anything steampunk and am glad that it's starting to catch on more and more.

These photos were awesome. And Xan, let me just say you have some very nice legs.
Now I want to dress steampunk...

Apparently this year's DragonCon set a world record for people in Star Trek uniforms. http://dailydragon.dragoncon.org/2010/star-trek-world-record/
