I'm starting to think moving there really isn't such a bad idea. I mean. Why shouldn't I? But how would one go about doing so?

Feel free to chip in here, guys.

Not sure how far you want to go, but this should give you most of the information you need, albeit in a more formal manner.

My brother married someone from Canada. That is WAY easier than all that reading.

Sapph... will you marry me? (for citizenship)

anyway, for being such a 'nice' group of people, Canadians are total bitches when it comes to working and living there. never seen another country so uptight about their immigration laws.

Son of a bitch. Getting married probably would be easier.

We do it mostly to keep the riff raff out. Like the Quaids. I'm sure there are loopholes if you're a nice American with a job prospect.

And like Torrin says, there's always marriage. I think Kae is still single....

I'm not riff raff! I don't have a job prospect (yet), but I am totally a great citizen. I even support paying higher taxes if it means getting more public services!

Oh Canada. Can't you just let me hide there for a while? It sucks living in a country that doesn't seem to value anything you think is important. And Canadians are nice.

You and Xan are also still single. Why did you suggest Kae?

Wait - I call dibs on Xan for gaining my Canadian citizenship.

Rastus, Poutine is more of a Quebec thing not a Canadian thing.

Yes, I know, and the whole separatist thing blah blah blah, but I assume that, in most of Canada, it's easier to find poutine than it is in the United States!

Does Canada do the gay marriage thing? If Torrin has Sapph, I totally call dibs on Fox for my citizenship.

Just because I smell like patchouli...personally I think a commune would be far out. We could brew our own micro beer and make a mint.

As long as we didnt drink up all the product.
