So how are the new drops?

I have been totally immersed in developing my Goblin rogue and have not had a chance to sample the new high level content.

I would also like to move some monetary resources over to the horde side whether it be from the AH (I would hate to take the percentage bite) or even trades to whomever has a Hordie with some excess cash.

I replaced my T10 shoulders on the very first quest in Hyjal. It was kinda depressing. It reminded of BC when my entire Lawbringer set was replaced before I left Hellfire.

I'm most of the way through Vashj'ir and I've only replaced my wrists. Most items are higher item level than the stuff I have but because my old stuff has epic gems, and enchants on it, it just isn't worth trading up yet. I've been DE'ing it all instead to level enchanting.

Ya my raid gear has mostly held up through Vashj'ir. I read somewhere that most raiders wont start seeing upgrades until the 83-84 quests. There are some nice blues from dungeon bosses (none that I can use have dropped for me).

Now is certainly a good time to spruce up those unused spec sets, though.

Yep. I've replaced my shoulders, and the two 232 items I had which were my shield and neck.

Replaced one or two slots so far. If I had replaced everything, I think my crit chance would be in the negative. It seems like every piece I see is kind of sexy but crit-deficient. So, I've just been selling all of these sub-80 greens for between two- and seven-hundred gold. I'm really looking forward to building up my mastery for each of my specs.

Hmmm...perhaps I should visit the new zones; at least until I score some rested experience.

I see plenty of crit on my spellpower mail, but not any of that sweet, sweet haste. All I have left from Wrath now is my chest, belt, mace, one ring, and trinkets. But a couple of things were replaced in instances and a few were side-grades that just happened to match better. I don't like looking like a hobo.
