We are starting to see guildies getting geared up enough to possibly attempt some of the new raids so we are thinking about posting some in the near future. Aside from Baradin's Hold, I have been reading about the other available raids in Cataclysm and it seems as though most of them are easy enough to get at least a couple of bosses down in each once people are geared in mostly 346 gear.

As such, I'm starting this thread to get an idea of how many people we have thus far who have the gear necessary to give things a try. Basically, if you have 'mostly' 346+ gear, indicate such in this thread and which spec that gear set is for. I know certain pieces are a little difficult to come by upgrades for, so you can get away with still having a random 318 or a couple of 333s, especially if you are already rocking some 359 epics from faction rep.

Finally, I think the guild has been pretty good about running heroics, but if people feel like they have been missing out, then let us know and we can look into posting some actual scheduled heroics to help fill out gear. Some people might also prefer to have a posted run so they can plan their night. Anyone can post heroics so please feel free to do so. Since most of you know there is a tank shortage, if any tanks out there want to post heroics there should be no problem filling the rest of the group. The more we help others get geared up, the faster we'll be able to see these raids.


I'll update this thread as people post, and I'll go first to get the ball going - post your raiding toon names, their specs, and their current gear situation. Here's my example:

We also plan to continue posting level 80 and lower raids. There are dozens of achievements people are still going for, as well as guild achievements, drakes, and legendary weapons the be won.

Since the requirements on these runs will not be nearly as strict as current raids, we hope to get as many people involved as there is interest for. If we're lucky, maybe we can have enough to run these on 25 man mode and any one that meets the level requirement is highly encouraged to sign up and come along.

I'm having no problems on heroics, other than fucking up mechanics. But the gear is fine.

I think my avg is 347. Getting higher daily.

Trianna's average is currently 347 for Resto. I do have some 333 bracers that need to be replaced, and one 316...damn you relic slot! For elemental it's slightly lower because I switch out some trinkets but it is essentially the same set. If I was needed in a raid as elemental for whatever reason I'd need to reforge some things to be optimized for DPS

And speaking of going back and doing level 80 raids, we need to go to Ruby Sanctum and kick some dragons in the teeth.

Jaannaa is at 349. There really aren't any really good upgrades left without spending valor pts or getting raid gear.

Frenial is at about 345 in raiding gear ATM. Still a few upgrades from rep and justice points she can get though.

Ferrous and Frocked are around 333-ish. If you need a tank or healer for heroics, look me up!

Favour is languishing in the three-teens or so. She needs to get out more.

Tank gear is at about 347, DPS gear is slightly higher. I prefer DPS, but can tank as needed.

Average is 352... really? That's what it says but that sounds high saying I still have a couple 333 to replace but whatever. Regardless I'm ready to bring my own special brand of death and destruction to raids

Average equipped iLevel is 346, in tank gear. I should have the 359 cloak by the start of the next WoW week. Possibly picking up one of the crafted items (the belt? Hrr.) if I can bring myself to farm the truegold mats.

DPS gear is not far behind, but I doubt that's what I'll be needed for.

Tank gear is ilvl 343. average level of all my gear is 347. DPS gear is 336. My healing gear is ilvl 341.

I'm interested, but I'm still at an average of 333. I need to get some heroics in, both to get Chaos Orbs for the Eng gun and helm and to replace at LEAST my trinkets and my 318 ring.

So... Yes, but maybe not quiiiite yet? Unless there's a person shortage and you just need a warm body pressing buttons to hurt things.

I am interested but I am under geared on both Perseous and Athiena.

I think I'm ready for dps with either Plasmo or Lilsumsum. Inability to make the earlier runs is the issue.

I'll be interested once my ilevel matches up which could be awhile. I'm only 328 last i checked. Still haven't done half the regular instances, let alone heroics. So, once I get there, I'll be interested for sure. Will be for DPS.

I am now heroic ready at 331! Yay! (BIG thanks to Jaannaa for crafting some items for me and tanking some regular runs for us last night.)
