Hello fellow PVPers! I am just making a quick post to gauge interest in possibly setting up a weekly Rated BG runs for all those interested in such things. Initially I wasn't sure if it would even be feasible, but the more I talk to people, the more I realize that we may just have enough to give some of these a go.

A few notes:

1. There are two brackets for Rated BGs. 10v10 (Warsong, Twin Peaks, Battle for Gilneas) and 15v15 (Eye of the Storm, Arathi Basin, Strand of the Ancients). I think we could easily get enough for 10v10, but we will definitely try for 15v15 if there is enough interest.

2. Resilience is a must for Rated PVP of any sort. There are ilevel 339 crafted sets of PVP gear available on the AH or from various crafters in the guild which are great for starter gear, and ilevel 352 class sets (plus everything else except for weapons) available for purchase with Honor. As a recommendation, I would probably try to have around 2000 resilience to really do well, but at the very least, try to have over 1500.

3. Running Rated BGs results in various rewards. First off, you get Conquest Points which allow you to get the epic PVP weapons and armor sets, and currently conquest points rewarded from Rated BGs are not limited by the weekly cap like Arenas. Second, there are many guild achievements not only for Rated BGs but also simply running them in a guild group. Third, the new PVP titles (Knight, Knight-Captain, Lieutenant, etc.) if our personal ratings get high enough at the end of the season.

4. You may have run BGs in the past and found them frustrating due to the lack of communication and general retardedness of your fellow players. However, with organized groups and instant Vent communication, I think they could end up being alot more fun.

Here is a list of people who have already mentioned to me that they would be interested in running Rated BGs. If you are not on this list, then please reply in this thread. As soon as we have enough for either bracket, I will start organizing.

I haven't done any sort of pvp really since TBC but I would be down.

I'd be eventually interested but not immediately. Too many other things in the game I want to do. But at some point in the future, I could see myself doing them if it was with people I knew as opposed to a randomly defined group more interested in racking up kills than actually working as a team.

My current PvP set is ret and has about 1450 resilience. I'm working on it.

I've always wanted to get more into PvP but have always felt so behind and like it wasn't worth it to start. I've stayed mostly on top of it this expansion and want to stick with it.

Definitely. Might be a little Hunter heavy, but if your looking for more folks, count me in.

i'd be in for this with any of my toons, once they're all to 85. i've got the shaman and the hunter for now.

By next week I should have over 3k resilience, I am quite excited about the proposed changes and the accessibility that it should grant. I have been enjoying PVP a lot lately.

Getting pretty good in BGs and Arenas with Peroxyde. I definitely would go with my Unholy DK and Peroxyde would go with his Shaman.
