If you are reading this, chances are that you are already raiding with Victorious Secret. That being the case, I suggest that you go to http://www.worldoflogs.com.
This site allows players to register, join a guild (I have made a spot for VS on the Eitrigg list), then utilize their client to gather and report very detailed raid data. Having an archive of our battles should help in a few ways. First of all, raid leaders will be able to view past data and make more informed decisions when forming lists for our scheduled raids. Additionally, we will have a better idea of when new ventures like 25-mans and Heroics will be more feasible. Another benefit is that when a boss fight proves difficult and different strategies are tested, raiders will be able to view the logs and determine which approaches are best suited for victory. Finally, having an archive of one's own data should make it easier to view one's personal progression as well as tweak one's build, rotation, or approach to specific bosses if one feels the need.
Just a suggestion to anyone who may be interested. I know that I like the idea of being able to look back at last week's run (just to push myself to do better, if nothing else).
One last note: I don't know which sites most people are using for tactics videos, but I have found http://www.love2playwow.com to be one of the best. The fights are explained thoroughly and slowly and the strategies have generally done well in any pugs that I have been in.
So, yeah. That's it. I'll be logging my raid data and getting hammered when we go back to finish V&T tomorrow night. See you there.
