I have become increasingly annoyed at my load times on my computer. Booting to the OS, launching programs (wow), loading zones (wow), etc. When everything is loaded it runs like a champ, but my hard drive was an obvious bottleneck that i overlooked when building my pc with a 1TB 7200 rpm drive.
Solid state drives are super expensive still (per gigabyte).
I discovered this little gem at best-buy one day.
Seagate Momentus XT 500gb Hybrid Solid State Drive

I recommend skipping ahead a bit to the split-screen of the 4 identical systems (other than the differing hard drives).
The much-cheaper hybrid drive is right on the tail of the expensive (and small) solid state drive and they BOTH leave the traditional spindle drives in their digital dust!
Highly recommended.

Absolutely SSDs are just about the best way to increase performance- especially a game like WoW with lots of hd loading.
Just don't try to defrag it.
