Premium digital edition on sale from steam today for $39.99 - patched to 1.1 = drm free out the gate and the first dlc for free.

There is crafting. Also I just read patch 1.2 is tomorrow and will include all the preorder dlc as well as a couple community asked for fixes.
I played the "Directors Cut" version of the first one that had all the fixes in it and loved it. I am going to wait till 1.2 is out tomorow before starting 2.
