I've always wanted to try that, but I'm told it's a bit on the costly side.
My immediate superior when I was first hired out of university used to go skydiving on weekends on a regular basis. Something about certification and teaching and being somewhat crazy. Then he moved to Australia: apparently it's even cheaper there for some reason. Plus the weather is nice. :)

The landing is what scares me too. I don't want to break a leg or something!

meh, if you do it right, you don't come in all that fast. There's not much of a risk of breaking anything.
